Joint Base Langley Eustis is a Virginia location that offers recreational hunting for military hunters. Since 2004 there have been hunting opportunities for military personnel. Permits for small game hunting/fishing/fur harvest

A small game hunt/fish/fur harvest permit is required for those who wish to harvest wild mammals, fish, or fur. Residents who are deployed overseas or on active duty will also need to have these permits. An active duty member can purchase a resident hunter's license for $5. After 30 days, a military member stationed at Montana can purchase a Montana resident hunting licence.

You may be eligible for a small-game hunt/fish/fur harvest permit in Nevada if you are a member or veteran of the armed forces. To hunt deer, a license that is not lottery-based is required. To be eligible, you must be a resident of the State. If you are stationed outside the state, you can purchase a hunting license by paying $9. The state requires that you have proof of military service to be eligible for this license.

Requirements for hunting licences

An active duty military personnel can buy resident hunting or fishing licenses if they're stationed within a state and have resided there for at least six month. To receive discounts, these individuals will need to provide their military ID or deployment papers. In addition, spouses and children of active duty military personnel are eligible to buy licenses at resident rates. If you are not a resident but are active duty military personnel, you may still qualify for a discount.
